In order for a behavior to be classified as bullying, it must be repetitive, and there must be a power deferential between the victim and the aggressor. Even though bullying behavior peaks in junior high school, it is found across all age groups, from young children to the elderly. I have conducted research on childhood aggression, and have treated adolescents and adults who have experienced peer victimization and bullying. There are different types of depression that range from mild to severe, and from situational to clinical. Individuals from different cultures may experience depression very differently.
